EEG Report or Clinical history: CLINICAL HISTORY: This is an 18 year old girl with a history of epilepsy. She is undergoing adjustment in her medical regimen.

EEG Interpretation: This EEG is abnormal due to generalized 4 Hz polyspike and wave epileptiform discharges. This finding is consistent with a diagnosis of idiopathic generalized epilepsy. However, focal onset epilepsy with rapid secondary bisynchrony cannot be excluded. Correlation with clinical history and neuroimaging is advised.
